Lists are a built-in data type in python.

In the list, you can store related items with the same variable name and they don’t have a fixed size.

Lists are not like strings, they can be easily mutated.

In Python, lists are enclosed in square brackets and elements are separated by commas.

Each element present inside the list has its unique position called index.

Python lists have their own length. This represents the number of elements present in the list, and you can use the length to perform various operations on lists.

Finding the length of a list in python

We, programmers, need the length of lists to work with them.

To find the length of the list we have different methods.

You can use the built-in function len(). Most programmers use this method to find the length of lists.

It is one of the most efficient solutions to find the length of lists.

If you don’t want to use the len() function to find the length of lists. You can use a for loop to find the length.
