When I started my first business I still had to learn how to start small.

I was under the misconception that to build a software business, you just need to build massive software, and from there people will come on their own.

This mentality cost me 6+ months and I failed in my business.

That’s why it’s important not to focus solely on building something big. But spend time looking for people’s pain points and trying to fix them by starting something small.

When I first heard the term start small, I thought it meant separating a large group of people into a smaller subgroup and then building the product for them. Many people think like this.
