I recently posted an article about the 17 essential GitHub repositories for software developers.

Once I posted that article, it made me think of tools that can make a developer’s life easier. I started collecting some tools that software developers can use.

Here are five tools that will allow you, as a developer, to get your work done quickly.

1. Figma

You can use Figma as a design tool. Previously, UX designers and frontend developers used Adobe Illustrator or Sketch. Figma can serve as a good alternative for both.

Once you start using Figma, you won’t go back to Adobe Illustrator or Sketch.

You can use Figma to easily prototype. Prototyping is straightforward in Figma. By using Figma, developers can convey any message to designers. They can get all the measurements with the help of a prototype.

Why should you use Figma?

  1. Figma has facilitated teamwork. Like Google Focs, all team members can collaborate. Anyone editing a file will show up at the top of the app. With Figma, you can stop the design shift from the design which have been agreed upon.
